2015 Seeds of Learning

The 2015 Seeds of Learning program was a resounding success! The James City County/New Kent County Master Gardeners presented Seeds of Learning this Spring to every first grade classroom at New Kent Elementary, George Watkins Elementary, and Charles City elementary. Seeds of Learning is an interactive horticulture program designed to provide an extension of classroom learning in an experiential setting so students may master the concepts of the parts of a plant, and the environmental factors required for growth. Thanks to the numerous Master Gardeners who presented the program, and the New Kent and Charles City school divisions, administrators, and teachers for allowing us the opportunity to provide this programming! We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
