Bridges Head Start Plant Program

Patricia Townsend, Horticulture Program Assistant, and Carl Frick, 4-H Youth Programming Extension Agent, taught a wonderful group of children attending Bridges Head Start basic plant structures and what is needed for plants to grow from a seed into a plant. The children completed a coloring activity, and on another visit toured Carol’s Garden and learned about different plants that can grow in gardens, discovered different texture of plants, and smelled many different fragrances of plants. A special thank you to the Bridges Head Start staff for allowing us the opportunity to work with this excellent group of children. We hope to see you all again soon.”
